I had the misfortune to see this skit…besides being tasteless, it shows a superficial awareness of Susan Boyle’s popularity, but not an understanding of why she had such an impact. One envisions the writers and producers skimming over dozens of news items, zeroing in on a single image of Susan singing and scripting a quick scenario in order to be “current. The skit makes no sense at all.
